Recently, with the approval of Shandong Provincial Party Committee, the Organization Department of Shandong Provincial Party Committee commended the “Good Cadres Shouldering Responsibilities” and “Good Teams for Entrepreneurship” in Shandong Province. Shandong Silk Road Development Investment Co.,Ltd. of the Company was awarded the title of “Good Teams for Entrepreneurship” in Shandong Province.
Since its establishment, Silk Road has dared to shoulder responsibilities and played its role. It has completed a total of 12.43 billion investment and financing tasks, which has greatly promoted the construction of major infrastructure and the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure of Shandong province. In 2016, Shandong Silk Road Development Investment Co.,Ltd. was identified as the main platform for investment and financing of the non-local poverty alleviation and relocation project under the “13th Five-Year Plan” of Shandong province. All the staff of the Company, through concerted effort, hard work, careful consideration and active coordination, successfully completed the financing tasks and fund investment allocated by the Non-local Poverty Alleviation and Relocation under the “13th Five-Year Plan”. Besides this, guided by the strategic thought of General Secretary Xi Jinping's “Targeted Approach to Alleviating Poverty” as well as the “New and Old Kinetic Energy Conversion” and the “Strategic Planning of Rural Revitalization” proposed by Shandong Provincial Party Committee and Government, Silk Road gave full play to the advantage of the financing platform of provincial state-owned enterprises, actively shifted the focus of the poverty alleviation work undertaken by the Company from “non-local poverty alleviation and relocation” to “industrial poverty alleviation”, and explored a new path of targeted approach to alleviating poverty.
On October 19, Shandong Development & Investment Holding Group Co.,Ltd. held a Party Committee meeting to convey the decision of commendation from the Organization Department of Shandong Provincial Party Committee. Meng Lei, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Company, awarded the leadership of Silk Road, and fully appreciated the achievements of Silk Road on behalf of the Party Committee of the Company. Meng Lei asked the Silk Road team to cherish the honor, make persistent efforts, be brave in reform and innovation, and strive to act as the “heaver” of Mount Tai in the new era. Meng Lei demanded that all the cadres and employees of the Company should actively learn from the advanced collectives, emulate those better than themselves, strive to be the advanced, forge ahead, fulfill their duties, shoulder responsibilities and act actually, assume new mission and show new work style with actual actions, making greater contribution to the reform and development of the Company.
