On the morning of December 18, the Congress of Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening Up was held in the Great Hall of the People. Meng Lei, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shandong Development & Investment Holding Group Co.,Ltd., Party Committee members, management, all employees and responsible comrades of all ownership enterprises watched the congress.
After the congress, Meng Lei talked about his viewing experience. He said that the reform and opening up has gone through a glorious course of 40 years, and obtained great achievements and created valuable experience. As General Secretary Xi Jinping said, reform and opening up is "a great awakening of our party, which gave birth to the great creation of our party from theory to practice." The congress awarded 100 comrades including Yu Min the title of “Reform Pioneer”, because their deeds were very encouraging and inspiring. Meng Lei said that reform and opening up has created historical and epochal conditions and opportunities for China to develop a market economy and deepen the reform of state-owned enterprises. This year, the Company has achieved a major breakthrough in the construction of major projects, the poverty alleviation of rural industry, the establishment of green fund, and the building of Yihuan Fund system.
